AsiaMedic CHI will be partnering with Dr. Gowresson Thevendran, an Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospital, for a zoom talk on 9th Oct Sat 930 AM to discuss “Ouch! My foot pain”.

 

Dr. Gowreeson is an orthopaedic surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospital. His subspecialty interests are foot and ankle surgery, trauma/fracture surgery and the treatment of lower extremity sports injuries. He is particularly skilled in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery.

 

 

Research-wise, Dr Gowreeson has a keen interest in cartilage regeneration and bioabsorbable implants. He has authored over 25 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals and was an invited speaker at more than 50 regional and international orthopaedic meetings.

 

The talk will be joined by a fellow Doctor who will discuss facts, myths, the screening process and approach recommendations from the perspective of a GP.
